About Me

Hi! I'm
A wife, homemaker, social worker, adventurer, and lifelong learner with a heart full of curiosity. My journey began in a childhood that stifled autonomy and voice. But, what was once a life marked by control and fear has transformed into one fueled by faith, freedom, and fierce passion for the world around me.

Now, I find joy in nearly everything - from nurturing a home and tending a garden, to diving into new cultures and chasing bold, soul-stretching adventures. I believe that beauty can be found in the ordinary and the wild, in the scared stillness of family life and in the vibrant chaos of exploring faraway places.

I eagerly accept the cozy, the quirky, and the beautifully original. Whether it's a vintage find, a bold idea, or a new way to make a house feel like home, I'm all in! But this space isn't just about pretty things and warm moments. I also speak out about spiritual trauma and the hard, healing conversations that often go unspoken. I share my story- the messy, beautiful, redemptive path of healing from abuse - and celebrate the things that light me up: home, faith, family, creativity, color, courage, and the people and places that inspire me to keep growing. My heart is for truth, wholeness, and creating spaces - online and in real life- where souls feel as safe and seen as a well-loved home.

If you love honest stories, deep roots, and wide horizons, you're in the right place!

Everything on this blog is written by me and is my property. That means you can't borrow any part of it without attributing it to me and providing a link that leads back to this site. Anything else is stealing; and we should all know that's not nice.

The same goes for photos and graphics. If you have any questions as to what is allowed, just contact me and we can clear that up pretty quickly. There are laws on all things copyright for a reason and they even apply to us "little" guys and gals.

It's also important that you understand that I tell my own stories here; give my own opinions. I'm not a professional anything-ist. I'm just here to leave my mark somewhere on the world and keep a running diary of my own experiences.

I hope you get that. If I make a brownie that turns out perfectly for me, and you try that same recipe and get different results, you can't come at me for that, okay?
